Smart Robots is a 3D perception device equipped with artificial intelligence that combines perception and reasoning skills, in a single object of moderate size and weight that can be placed on a support or on a wall. The product offers real-time mapping of the work area, recognition of people's movements, actions and gestures.

These skills are applied to certify and guide human operations, in order to improve the quality of the process and reduce human errors.

If connected to a cobot, the Smart Robots product allows a real human-cobot interaction, adapting and synchronizing the cobot programs with human actions.

Traditional and non-automated manual workstations with defined sequences. The goal is to reduce operator errors or the missing sequence.

How does it work:

Thanks to the 3D vision, the system detects the operators' hands and recognizes the actions in real time. The correctness of human operations is verified through comparison with a defined sequence; different types of feedback can be provided to the operator regarding the correctness of the operations (e.g. visual, acoustic, tactile).
